“Jace! Stop moping in the bathroom all day and do something productive! Your sister would like to bathe sometime this afternoon!”

Jace Dexter is a 21-year-old university student of Cassica Grad, the older brother of his feisty, tomboyish sister Luna Dexter, and as of late: the latest victim of his myriad of dating disasters. Jace is a hopeless romantic, sometimes neglecting his studies in hopes of devoting precious time with whichever boy had his heart at the time, but often would be at the tail end of many relationships due to his overly clingy nature. The truth is, Jace isn’t as dependent as his younger sister and would often confide in her due to their close relationship with each other. Luna, his 18-year-old more youthful sister, could be the complete opposite of her brother, bringing polar complications and situations.

Luna Dexter is a recent high school graduate of Neo High and reigning top-ranking scorer on the girl’s basketball team, star goalie on the girl’s soccer team, and all-time record-breaker of the girl’s volleyball team’s historical ranks. Luna excelled physically in any sport she played, but her actual sport to form is her ability to make many sexually frustrated girls fall in love with her wild but focused antics when she’d come around them. She knows her brother has had so many relationships back to back, but none he can keep longer than two months. Luna being athletic meant her body was highly toned in the thighs, waist, and arms with a light six-pack outline on her stomach. Luna made it to the Rec Room showers, which came with voice automated shower systems, public and private secluded hot tubs, and holo televisions that would display 3D visuals out of the walls that generally had the tourist programs open for families. “I’ve thought about it, but then I’d see all the things I’d sacrifice instead of entering the draft lottery. I know I can achieve my dream of playing if I just work on my form instead of getting stuck in a school for years.” In Neo Cassica, there are several ways to enter pro status, from being selected from a university team, an out-of-school sports camp, or as a last-minute pick-up between players and teams who have yet to fill their back roster. Some of the best players in Neo Cassican history have come from those ranks and have become idols to those who would rather forgo educational standards of playing.

“Hey, what’s that mean? Some of us have only been in school for two years…well, most of us,” Junko motioned at the lone girl in the private hot tub stall.

Luna followed the direction she was nodding to. “Oh right, who’s that? She been on the team long?”

Another player spoke up. “She’s our new player, fresh out of high school. She’s been with us for a few months but doesn’t talk to us outside of the game. We don’t know much about her other than she’s quiet and always seems to travel away from us. We’ve caught her looking at us from time to time in the locker rooms, but that’s about it.”

Junko interjected. “We’d like to know more about our teammate, but she’s kept to herself since she came to us. She’s a decent player and would grow more if she would communicate.”

Luna hadn’t been listening at all to what the girls were saying. She was already enamored with the lone player’s looks. From afar, she could see the light brown skin glistening with water beads as she sat alone, soaking up the light from the holo display beside her. Her hair adorned in a crown of thick brown dreadlocks lying at her shoulders, blocking most of the presentation of her chocolate brown eyes from Luna’s angle. “What’s her name?” Luna asked, eyes never leaving the heavenly gaze of this asocial woman.
